The media sources, books, organizations, governmental entities, United Nations bodies, and general web sites that cover in every possible detail both sides of the conflict are numerous enough. HaSM, therefore, focusses its Middle East coverage on commentary addressing philosophical ramifications of particularly poignant events and thresholds, rather than cataloguing events and news.
For that reason the news and views offered here from external web sites focus on those items that can be a source of reference for the various opinions we offer in our commentaries on the Middle East conflict.
They're also selected to offer a time line of sorts for significant events relevant to the interaction between Israel, America, "Israeli" lobbyists in America, and events in the Middle East, which are the interactions we are most concerned with, being on this critical end of the conflict (North America).

Justice, Not Land, Key To Prosperity

Small nations like Switzerland, Belgium or Denmark, or even the tiniest, like Luxembourg, Monaco or Singapore, are proof positive that size is irrelevant to prosperity. What's especially shocking is that it's mostly Western leaders who are religious and churchgoing - among whom one may count both the American president and the Canadian prime minister - who are most willing to lay aside Christian teachings, Western values, and, where Canada is concerned, the long-standing commitment to international peace and justice, and instead turn to a book of morals and values devised specifically for use with Israel, and which contains only two words, "carte blanche."
