... People - the audience - are applauding one thing only, hate against Muslims. If the same cause was being addressed by a moderate Muslim in conciliatory, constructive, and objective terms, there would have been no applause from that particular audience. Indeed, that particular audience would have had no interest in attending that objective talk to start with.

They are there for the sole purpose of listening to hateful speech against Muslims and Islam, to revel in it, to celebrate it, to enjoy it, to let it quench their thirst for hate. The biggest bonus: the hate is coming from a supposed “moderate Muslim” or “progressive Muslim”, or from an ex-Muslim. That’s the icing on the cake, and that’s why the great demand for their services by haters, and that’s why the willingness to sell out by a few "Muslims" of no integrity (of course, their established lies have already exposed them as such). The attending audience, supposedly there to hear about the plight of Muslim women, would not care in the least if Muslim women were all blown up the next day ...

... Thus Hindu equivalents of Muslim opportunists, who want to play the same game and get some gain from it for themselves, are out of luck. The cause of Hindu women is left to sincere, selfless activists and true advocates of women’s rights, exactly the same as with the sincere Muslim activists who have actually done much of the dirty work already achieved for Muslim women, as mentioned earlier.

Hardly anyone cares if a Hindu turns against Hinduism, and we never hear of any (we’re not speaking of simple conversion here, of course). They have to settle for minor benefits - simple material goods offered by missionaries at most - and certainly no publicity.

... How can anyone seriously expect such individuals (opportunists), no matter how sincere in their views they say they are, to successfully and constructively debate, discuss, or resolve problems of people they alienate, denigrate, and promote hate against?

It's either that they bash those they are supposed to speak up for out of absolute foolishness and immaturity, in which case demonstrating utter incompetence and a profound lack of aptitude for the task at hand, and therefore should be rejected, or, as the case actually is, they are persons looking out for themselves without any sincere interest in the causes they pretend to champion, or the people they say they wish to help, but only in sensationalising the problems in the cause of their personal agendas ...

Ayaan Hirsi Ali lied through her teeth to advance her career. She chose dishonesty in return for rewards. But then her apologists tell us that she later admitted to her earlier lies, so what’s the big deal?

The big deal is that it was only after she realised her lies were sure to be exposed that she preempted the scandal she would face by admitting to them. But why were her lies going to be exposed?

Ms. Hirsi Ali entered The Netherlands on account of a fabricated past. She then very shrewdly built upon those fabrications once she witnessed the hate for Muslims that existed in “tolerant” Holland, and how easy it was to manipulate that hate to her advantage. As any dishonest opportunist worth her salt would have done, she exploited every weakness in the Dutch that she could find.

And she found that being the mouthpiece of haters of Islam brought the greatest benefits. No honour, no ethics. All she had to do was repeat what they think and say, making it appear as though it were coming from a Muslim's mouth, and reap in the rewards.

That, indeed, is how such opportunists everywhere are exploited by those who are hateful. They offer themselves openly to be manipulated by such haters and moulded into becoming the haters' mouthpieces. And that is what eventually paved the path for her to enter into Dutch politics.

And that’s exactly what opportunists excel at, manipulating and accepting being manipulated and exploited by others to attain their goals. Their only expertise lies in taking the utmost advantage of those they scammed and fooled and then sold their souls to.

Their expertise certainly does not lie in offering special insights, scholarly opinions, or new and original perspectives on the issues they are specifically supposed to be celebrated for.

On the contrary, their views are unvariably exposed as shallow, superficial, and extremely selective and biased toward one goal only, pleasing those who can advance their careers, give them jobs, book contracts, etc..

Ms. Hirsi Ali has displayed an acute lack of scholarship, intellect, truthfulness, insightfulness, or rationality, and certainly honesty and integrity, as her lies have proven.

But she was also smart enough - as liars are in their field of interest - to realise that her name would soon flash across the globe, including Somalia, once her role in Dutch politics became widely publicized. With information only a few key strokes or a phone call away, those who knew of her past life would expose her lies in no time.

She faced a dilemma. And being the shrewd, inveterate, now confirmed liar that she is, she made the smart decision - which she now uses as some kind of redeeming act - of coming out “clean”. A wise move, but not surprising coming from someone whose career was all built upon a series of dishonest smart moves and no substance.

And though admitting to lies doesn't redeem one all that much, she still did not come out totally clean and admit to all her lies, only what were major lies and therefore sure to be exposed. All the minor details - the lies that brought her sympathy and empathy - were left to live on till exposed by a Dutch investigative team that went back to where Ms. Hirsi Ali came from to uncover the whole truth of her lies.

Yet it's those kinds of people that are feted in the west by haters of Muslims and Islam.

We all support full equality and rights for women, but it does not take, nor need, inciting hatred to bring about change to the better.

If anything, demonising all Muslims and Islam to bring better rights to women is counterproductive. It is difficult to measure the harm in figures, but guessing from the response in the Muslim world to her self-serving actions there is no doubt Ms. Hirsi Ali has hindered the rights of Muslim women by bashing Islam in the name of women's rights! Her only interest, obviously, is self-interest.

And as long as there is a market - neo-cons and other haters of Islam - for her kind of hateful rhetoric and fabrications, she will be happy to oblige and be the haters' mouthpiece for whatever rewards she can get from them. And she will continue to generate more of her venom in the name of bringing rights to the women she causes more harm than good, indeed only harm.

Of course, such opportunists lose all credibility in the eyes of respectable, decent, and ethical people. Any views they express are worthless since everyone already knows they’ll say whatever will please their handlers.

Only their Islam-hating handlers publicize their “views”, even as they laugh behind their backs at how easy they were to condition - using the reward system - to say exactly what their handlers want them to say.

So one wishes that she and her like happily enjoy whatever benefits they gained from selling their souls. But their "fame", unbeknownst to them, is actually "infamy". So even as they walk around proudly on account of the fake, ill-acquired fame they believe they enjoy, the decent, respectable world, looks down upon them with contempt.
