The reason for including those catalogues of 'Non-Muslim Violence' is solely to challenge and respond to the hatemongering haters of Muslims who use every crime or incident of violence committed by some Muslims among the 1.3 billion Muslims in 55 nations in the world to bash, denigrate, insult, vilify, demonise Muslims and Islam collectively, simply to fulfil their - the haters' - need to quench their thirst for hate and to further their dark agendas.

The western world, the non-Muslim Asian world, the Eastern European world, Catholic Latin America, and Israel have as much, if not much more, violence and wrongs to their name as Muslims do. And those wrongs are ongoing and occur on a daily basis.

The point is, better focus on our shared humanity - what good the vast majority of the members of any group, be it religious, racial, ethnic, or national - share in common than to selectively pick on crimes that exist in all groups as if they were specific to one only, which is the modus operandi of the haters on either side.

Many of our HaSM articles address that point in detail. See for example 'Hate against Muslims again, and again, and again', which specifically analyses how terrorism in the world is a factor of a number of determinants and not at all the religion of the perpetrators.

The different faiths, races, and nations of the world can begin rapprochement and reconciliation only by recognising and acknowledging that any attempt at pinning wrongdoing and evil exclusively on any one faith, race, or nation is not only contrary to all available evidence and therefore misleading and unrealistic, but is also malicious in nature and only serves to widen the gap between different groups, rather than bring them together for the sake of the peace and harmony of the world.

In other words, all of humanity are brothers and sisters and act it, as witnessed all over the world, and the only divisiveness that exists is created by that minute but vocal segment of humanity - a portion of which exists in all groups - that loves to hate and loves evil, instead of loving goodness and fellow woman and man.

REMINDER: HasM has no interest whatsoever, indeed it saddens it, and it's a burden upon it, to point out comparisons between religions or different groups - the west, Christianity, etc. - but it's hand is forced by those who relentlessly direct hate, vilification, and denigration at Muslims.

Unfortunately, in responding to hate attacks one is forced to make comparisons. However, wherever we can, we do our best to keep as closely as possible to refuting the attacks without pointing out or emphasizing the ills of the attackers' group.

We hold the position that the haters are exceptions in the groups they belong to, not the norm. We do not, in the least manner, care to upset the good members of the groups that such haters belong to (at least nominally), whether they be "the West", white, Christian, Jewish, Hindu, atheist, or whatever.

Please keep that in mind in any arguments in which we have been forced to point out the ills of the attackers' or other groups.

And we wish to sincerely apologise ahead of time for any upset or chagrin we may cause the good decent people of the groups to which those haters belong. We ache as we find ourselves cornered into responding in a manner we would never have, had our hand not been forced.
